Conservative treatment
It is needed when the teeth are diseased – tissue damaged by decay, a chipped tooth or inflammation under an existing filling.
The dentist will assess how serious the condition is and may take an X-ray to find hidden decay – decay that damages the tooth before you notice it and can cause serious problems.
Go for regular check-ups and ask for your teeth to be cleaned – this is extremely important.
We treat with fillings, and when the dental pulp is inflamed, with endodontics (root canal treatment).
