Aesthetic dentistry
A smile can turn a face from charming to radiant. Today’s possibilities in dentistry allow ever better results in aesthetics.
“Aesthetics” literally means “the science of the senses”. It is concerned above all with sensory perception and with what we recognise through it. The word comes from the Greek aisthesis – “perceiving” and “feeling”, but also “recognising” and “understanding”. Today we associate it above all with beauty.
“If there is anything that makes life worth living, it is the contemplation of beauty.” – Plato
A smile influences the way others perceive the beauty of a face. How do we achieve a more beautiful smile? With teeth whitening and with porcelain veneers.
